Bluemetals offers engineering from the German Rhineland (north of Cologne) prior to the European market.

Studies of general mechanical engineering at the university Duisburg-Essen, major subjects process engineering, waste regulations and project management. Start at Mannesmann DEMAG AG (later merged to SMS Siemag AG, later renamed and reorganized to SMS group GmbH) as design engineer. Shortly afterwards he succeeded his father in dimensioning of submerged arc furnaces SAF. After approx. 10 years he changed internally as deputy general manager to the department R+D/innovation management. Nevertheless, he was always in demand for all questions of design and dimensioning of complex SAF furnaces. In responbility of the innovation management he managed national and international integrated research projects with the focus on raw material efficiency and slag cleaning and he coordinated the project management and controlling. In latest time new subject areas became energy management, fibre-optic- and IR-measurement-technology and their integration in complex industrial plants. During the last two years he worked as senior specialist for product development in the new created department nob-ferrous technologies.

Laser protection officer according to German § 5 OStrV and TROS (official regulations).

His strengths are creative converting specific customer's ideas, challenges, requests and processes in tailor-made and economic plant technology. He is an advocate of sustainable technologies and combining energy management, measurement technology and process to a union.

In his leisure time he is dedicated to social and cultural projects, he loves activities in nature such as biking, hiking and water sports and likes singing in a choir.
